I love the dragon nice to see how you have kept it earthy looking but menacing at the same time, top job.

The dragon is beautiful, crowsfoot phrased it nicely above.

Thanks, guys! I really appreciate it! I know that this forum is only for Lizardmen, but it was just something that I happened to be working on at the time. I have TONS more painted models like this, but I'll try to keep it just to Lizardmen.

I'm astonished at your progress! My daughter is 10 months old and I haven't painted a thing since she was born. Don't know how you do it.

Out of all the old school dragons the forest dragon is the one I like most. It's nice to see one with a good lick of paint on it!

    Keep up the fantastic work!

Lesser race thread for your other models, I'm going to be posting Ogres, Dark Elves, High Elves and Skaven there as well as terrain pieces.

Well, I certainly could post my other armies (Empire ~ 10,000 pts, O&G ~ 8,000pts, High Elves ~ 9,000 pts, Dwarfs ~ 9,000 pts, Wood Elves ~ 7,000 pts and a smattering of Undead here and there {mostly for the lore of Undead}). I have tons of painted models and pictures, but I just didn't want to bore people here going through lots of pics of armies they didn't care about. What would you guys like to see?

Well since l already have a Wood Elf Forest Dragon up, I guess I'll go ahead and start posting them.

I changed them up from the standard Treeman pose and gave them tree spears since I wanted them to be unique. I also wanted them to be modeled much more dynamically. As though they were leaping into battle and spinning their spears around in deadly arcs. I hope you enjoy!

This is the first of three Warhawks that I am working on right now. The other two will look very similar to this one with slight variances. Notice the flight stand. That was the one area that was giving me fits. I used the little rod that GW includes with the model, but that is a lot of spread out weight (the model is pewter) for that little thing to hold up. Someone told me about these flight stands from Privateer Press and they looked really sturdy and was the aesthetic I was going for so I thought I'd give them a try. They worked great! I had to bore the hole in the underside of the Warhawk a little but once I did that, it fit perfectly. The design is very sturdy and I don't worry about it breaking off.

This is the Glade Lord on the Forest Dragon. I magnetized him so that he could use either mount.

These are WIP pics of my Wild Riders and Sisters of the Thorn. I actually have 6 of both units and these aren't finished as I'm sure you can tell, but that's all the pics I have of them right now. I really need to take more updated pics!

This is my Araloth. He actually won first place in a painting contest at my local GW store out of around 20 participants! I was quite pleased (and surprised) by that.

This was a second Araloth that I did for a friend of mine who was just getting into the game playing WE. I painted his a little differently so that we could tell our's apart and just to see how another scheme looked. Let me know which you like more! (If you do like them that is...)

Really nice work on the eagles, I set out my sons HE last night and there are around 100 models, I was going to ebay them but I'm going to paint them as he is now a OK fan!

Colour scheme fits in with what you would expect wood elves to look like.

Looks too dark, more Dark elfish

so first one wins for me.
