I've been busy for a while now... An I hate not having the time to get to paint and show it. But I'm back I have time now I'm all moved in. And will do/start my paint log. Hope you have all already seen tettoeko so no point putting him on here again. If not head over to fine arts he is on there. But I shall start with my cold ones I'm working on then when I work out with colour lizard I want for skinks/saurus and then start them. So hopefully I shall be more active .
Heres stage one basecoated with kabalite green. Then the scales as you can see are different they was a mix with kabalite green and celestria grey. now we have stage two, the scales are painted individually one with sybarite green and the other temple guard blue. the skin was layered with elysian green, then a highlight of ogryn camo, i have yet to do the third highlight with nurgling green. i shall keep you updated and as i said im back so hopefully more activity from myself
Said I would try to be more active... but time and life itself proves me wrong, but i have an update! so here with out further a do more progress on the cold blooded beasts! and there's the 5... I'm experimenting with the gold at the moment, left to do is the eyes and then finish up and they are ready for the riders to mount them.
DE Cold Ones are so much better than hours...I have one for my Old Blood Cowboy, but converting is such a faff! Nice colour scheme, I quite liken the bone-coloured spines!
i know what you mean ours are too chunky and don't look menacing or terrifying at all.... DE cold ones for all my riders. Regarding the colour thank you very much, hopefully more to come, I've got another 5 cold ones to do but might save them for another time. Thank you for your comment much appricated
well yet again hard to get time to paint or anything work hours at the moment, yet my motivation to push myself to do it. I have been playing with the cold ones and came up with a skaven pelt/ fur idea to put on the mount, yet now the rider colour scheme and what to do with the green stuff on him I have yet to decide but here are the images: the end one is without rider due to the scar vet cowboy model being such a bloody pain to fit on so I think I'm going to make my own through kitbashing.
Sneak peek time. I have brought a tank to the table, a monster terrified by all! My magnetised STEGADON! Everything is magnetised so i can change it depending on play. If I want blow-pipes I have two moveable ones The bow itself also so it doesn't move but stays in position. And finally the best ENGINE OF GODS! This is all so I have one model which can play all roles (normal/ ancient), I aim to do it with my bastiladon as well.
Very nice, the cold ones look really good. I have started a DE army and have Malus mounted on a new cold one model should finish him tonight.
thank you, they look so much better then the LMCO. I bet he will look amazing when you unleash your paintbrush skills on him.
Yes this seems to be the problem I'm thinking like a metal plate with them glued to or kit bash them to fit I'll have to play around with it.
