Going over the paints that were avaiable to me i decided to make them green. Eith the base coats the skinks a light green en aand saurus a dark green. 14421657464161446722757.jpg

Its getting too dark in here an artificial light somwhow doesnt cut it for pictures. So i wont post any more for now. But the scales/ shield will have a red base. So the scheme will be green red. Lets hope this makes for a cool overal look!

Personally i think the hilights of the scales an shields didnt work out as i wanted or it might be the lighting but iam ver proud of the green skin! Please keep in mind i am far from a pro and i dont do this a lot

Even if you say so, your work looks great, it remids me of Crowsfoot's former profile picture.

This sunday my finished saurus warrior will be posted ( i allready had him almost done apart from a few finishing touches. After that ill start painting either my saurus old blood or my saurus cavalry or the temple guard. so i have a finished model from each type of unit i have. from that ill be trying to speed up the process since i know the steps involved for every model so itll be like 3 or 5 at a time. ill keep u posted! :)

p.s. on a sidenote, i recently started playing dawn of war 2, and i am really in love with those blood ravens, both the colour scheme, and the space marines in general. Although i always saw them as a bit cheesy their lore and background really catch me every time, so ill probably be starting them too with a small battleforce, iam not sure how i will do this, but my lizardmen is more of a long term project ( seeing as all my stuff is at my uncles place and i only go there once every 2 weeks and iam planning on keeping the space marines at my own place ), but still the main focus. but is it allowed to make like a mini blog about those marines aswell, or is this a pure lizzy forum? ( which id be cool with ;) ).

Did you wash those red scales? Maybe it's just the picture, but they look rather "flat". :)
