    Hey guys,

What are you using for Greater elementals and the others?

I'm looking to expand my Salamanders so give me options.

I made my Fire elementals from silicone paste. It is quite easy to shape into something that looks like flames.

    Here is the result:

I am in the process of making a Greater fire elemental as well. Will post pictures when it is done.

As you might know I use my Slann as a GFE, and 3 Salamanders with handlers as a Horde of Fire Elementals, I have another Horde in Wipe too but I will finish my Tyrants first.

I knew that :), but I was thinking of something like what @BAE has used but I have 2 salamanders I could easily repaint.

It cost me 30 SEK, which is around 3 euros, and was enough for two horde of Fire elementals. Quite cheap for 400 points worth of troops.

I bought it from a hardware store here in Sweden called Biltema.

Any hardware or similar store that carries chemicals and/or construction supplies would be my first bet.

Reaper makes a clear Orange-Red fire elemental. Item number 77082.

Here are some pictures of mine:

There are filter gizmos in the camera and I started playing with them. Three of the results are below:

That guy is ~2.5 times as tall as a Saurus Warrior. I will try to shoot a new pic with a size comparison for you.

That's a nice model. I considered it for my Fire elementals, but the problem was I could only find one or two alternative ones (that I liked) and I didn't want a unit with several identical poses.

You can see a comparison to that model in the images of my whole army on the Salamander Paint Schemes thread. It fits a 50mm x 50mm base comfortably. Not sure whether it would fit a 40mm.

We are looking to see what we can do for elementals as part of the salamander army late next year.
