The fluff states that Zlaaq is over 500 years old and is supposed to be huge. Now there is no model for Zlaaq.. but if there were, how much larger, than a regular stegadon would you say this model should be?
I'd suggest making him either one of two options - Older and saggier but like 5% bigger due to saggy skin (still tough though ) or like 10-20% bigger with more scale protection and longer horns etc to suggest growth with age
I agree... Reptiles (and as far as I know dinosaurs, too) tend to grow bigger all their lives... But the growing gets slower with age... Which is logical cause they need more energy to maintain the bigger body... So I would suggest something between 1.2 to 1.5 times the size of a regular stegadon...
I wouldn't go too big but a 10% or so increase to the size of a stegadon would work. Plus yes we want pics if you're doing this!
Thanks for the input guys! I think ill go somewere in the 10-50% range, trial and error should show what looks best.. and then I think ill make the scales more pointy and the horns longer. Possibly a few extra horns. If I manage to pull this off right ill definately post pictures
Looking forward to it. For me the wip pics are the best parts let's others know how to get the same results them selves or give them ideas to build on
