Hi all I am now with a conversion of a warlord on raptor. It is going to be a didficult project, as i want to change not only the warlord but also the raptor I hope to be able to post soon some photos of how the warlord is in it's current state. Also suggestions will be accepted but i must say i have my ideas pretty clear at this point
Yes. According to my 9th age Saurian Ancients rules, a Saurian Warlord has a higher statline than a Saurian Veteran, and according to my Lizardmen rulebook, the same is true for an Oldblood vs. a Scarvet. So in 8th ed terms, it's an Oldblood with 2h weapon on Cold One. But to return to topic; can't wait to see how it looks!
Yes, that one. I used the ninth age name because it is what we are playing here at the game store of my city (even if lizardmen are not that great in the current version of the game... hehehe) It is turning out pretty nice. I'm using the carnosaur rider with some modifications. I will post photos soon
Yeah, I play T9A too, so figured I'd throw in the slight correction. I've also got a Warlord on Raptor conversion in mind, though I think I'm going to do mine with a great weapon, and I haven't started collecting bits for his body yet. Which raptor are you using, the Lizardmen Cold One or the Dark Elves?
Mine has a great weapon too. (2 hands weapon, not paired ones. Sorry for the confusion jejeje) Is the lizardmen cold one, but i am going to modify it a lot
Jejeje i will try to upload as soon as possible pictures of the old-blood (because it is the part i am doing right now) The problem is that my pc broke down, so now it might take me a few days until i can post the pictures
First images of the oldblood. Appart from the armour plates that i made for him, i had to sculpt the arm (the forearm is the one of the miniature) to adapt the position so that he is actually wielding a huge hammer with the two hands. Next post will be the weapon itself, that i have it already done Hope you enjoy it
Love the armor! It definitely is in keeping with a pre-Columbian theme, and I like it better than the normal armor that is on that model. Fantastic detail, more pictures are you continue to work on this model!
Little update: The weapon fell to the floor and broke apart, so when i finish assembling some miniatures that i need for a campaign i'm doing with my friends, i will re-construct it and continue the work. You can expect more photos at the begginning of the next week with a new update (including photos of the miniature that gave me the idea of the big two-handed hammer as a weapon )
