I bloomin' hate that Cold One model, but your paint job is good :)

Welcome to LO! The cold one looks pretty good so far but I'd defs agree with you that's slightly lighter drybrush will help define the scales a little better. The only other thing that i can see needs improvement is your whites look a little thick but you'll get more comfortable with thinning paints down as you paint more models.

Thank you, one day I'll probably take you up on that. ;)
Thank you! Most units will probably be a bit more colourful as I paint along... ^^
    Yes, it was, thankfully. :)

Thank you, I'm gonna upload a couple of pictures in a few minutes of my "Chief Cold One".

Yeah, parts of them feels a bit square/boxish and from what I've understood there are better ones in another army? Thank you, I appreciate that! ^^
Thanks! I'm glad I found my way here! :)

Yes, I feel so as well about the highlights and I'm awaiting my paint delivery since I've got some good dry paints in there. I could probably thin down the whites quite a bit more, yeah. :) I really appreciate all feedback I can get! :D I've got a lot to learn... :p

My chief! Primed in white, probably a way too thin coat since I can't really tell a difference in the colours from the ones primed in black... :/

Some black shading on the gold helmet and neckpiece. (Nuln Oil)

Followed the Warhammer TV tutorial on how to do the feathers(on the Skink Priest) since I really love those colours on the feathers except that I also detailed with some blue at the ends, and some reds as well, to really emphasize that tropical rainbow feeling. :)
(Just realized I've forgotten to shade the nose and teeth...well, it's far from done anyway... :p)

I have yet to find out the difference between priming with black or white when you apply a solid coat of paint. I guess older paints (like those of 5 years ago) were less quality and didnĀ“t manage as much coverage as now, and then the primer colour would show, but not now. What I find white primer good for is for wash-painting and for light colours simply for the fact that less coats are needed.
