    Hello guys,
first time for me posting in this part of the forum!

I need your help, the question is simple: are there any good alternatives to spray cans in order to primer GW's miniatures?
I don't like them (the cans, of course!) at all, and where I live it's often a problem to spray cause I have not much space to do so, not enough air circulation, and some really unfriendly neighbors!

Now, what I was thinking about was to use the Technical Paint "Imperial Primer", which can be used indoor and with a simple brush... but (surprise!) it is not available anymore!!! :(

Do you know any alternative? And do exist coloured primer-paints (like blueish, yellowish, ...)?

Thank you for the help, guys!

Get a cheap airbrush and some vallejo air primer in your colour of choice. You'll never look back.

Airbrush and compressor can be picked up for under £70, and if you're only using for priming you'll probably never have an issue with a cheap one. Vallejo air primer is bloody amazing. So smooth.

This is all you need, Airbrush for priming is the future.

Oh, right, didn't thought about that...

Thanks a lot for your super fast answers!

I've seen there are various colours to choose from: nice.

So I won't have any problems using a Vallejo primer and GW's paints, right?
Or do you suggest to entirely switch to Vallejo products in order not to mix paints from different brands?

Vallejo primer is fine with any acrylic paint, honestly once you make the switch to using an airbrush you won't look back, it's super fast and the primer is thinner than spray primer so you get better retention of detail on your models.

Vallejo do their primers in all kinds of colours, and they work perfectly with all other acrylic based paints - including GW. I use a mix match of Vallejo air paints and GW stuff and not had any issues.
