It's only a fun thing so if it's not ready post it when it is, I'm going to try and have a burst session on mine next week!!!
It's HUGE now and 99% done but the builder had to disrupt my painting loft so it's a complete mess at the moment but I will get it sorted. Our old kitchen was 2.5mtr sq and then we had a dining room 3mtr by 2.5 mtr it is now all one and measures 5mtr * 5.5mtr with a utility room off to the side 3mtr * 2.5mtr
Excellent effort, I love how you have presented it as well, what did you use to create those images? The molten rock looks very realistic
Thank you. ) The program is called Comiclife. I have recently purchased the latest edition and it is very inconvenient. So, should you ever need it for anything, I strongly recommend using some older edition. Thank you! I am pleased you liked it! ) Ooh, there's even a penguin smiley here! Love it!
Thank you very much, my good sir! ) Thanks a lot! I appreciate your kind words! ) I am glad you enjoyed it. ) Thanks a lot! ) Oh, dear! That's a shame. I guess that may be just me, but making this short comic took me almost an hour with that new interface and most inconvenient way of adding bubbles, colour editing, etc. Well, still I hope it was worth all that time spent. )
Fantastic work with your lava lake and your adventurous cartoon! I am a fan of the fire lizards, and the way you painted the lava going down the rocksides into the bigger pool. My entry is also complete! It started out as a humble burial mound worthy of a skink, now is much closer to slann-level burial mound size. Lots of fun to make, glad I had a great excuse to attempt something like this! House of the Serpent Mouth (also known as the Serpent Mouth Temple): Back view: Side view, along with collapsed entrance: Corner view: Main Entrance: Interior pictures: The upper floor of the structure is magnetized so it comes off. Plenty of room for skirmishers to go exploring inside. I got all these pictures and a few more over in my lizardmen paint thread, plus WIP pictures before that. I hope you enjoy the pictures! Spoiler: original inspiration The inspiration for this project comes from the real-world Mayan ruined site of Chicanna, specifically Temple 2, known as the House of the Serpent Mouth. The vast majority of Mayan pyramids were tombs as well, hence my burial mound taking on rather epic proportions.
Talk about going the extra mile. Fabulous work. I love all the tiny little details: plants, glyphs, boarded up sections, doors, interiors, etc. Absolutely a treasure trove of beautiful details to capture the eye's attention. Great stuff!
@Warden That is absolutely stunning, my good sir! Amazing work. Are any interior pieces planned? Can we have a closer look at the tomb? I would love to see some close-up pics, if it is possible. )
Thanks! I want to make more of the stone sarcophagi at some point, if I ever get a Lord Kroak I will do one specifically for a slann's mummified remains. Right now I got these small items: a few warpstone tokens, the sarcophagi, and some treasure. I also want to add some more treasure, and maybe some piles of gold or other precious items for the warmbloods to steal. These are my two favorite closeups, got a lot more on my army blog. Some lizard scouts investigating some suspicious green rocks: And two spear-toting saurus guarding two mysterious doorways:
Thank you very much for additional pictures! The sarcophagi look amasing. Are the decorations free hand drawn or is it some kind of imprint? The same question about the wall decorations. I guess, since it is 24th today, we shall not see other entries then?
