    @GreenyRepublic
    Haha, thank you very much! :) Trying my best.

    @Koriialstraz
    Many thanks! Well, I guess if and when one commits to something during a long period of time, the skill comes along. At least that's how I believe it works.

    I'm currently painting my skinks, 20 of them in a row. The progress is really slow, it took me something about a week to just complete the blue parts of their hides. But in the end I think that the blue body looks decent and somewhat fluid. But there's much more to paint, next thing being black scales on their backs. I hope that from now on the progress will be a bit quicker. Anyway, here are some picks.

    Yeah, I believe that too. And I hope that one day, I'll have half of your skills. :)

    Mine's nothing special ;) everyone should try and seek something what suits them. For me personally it is the best paint and conversion quality I can achieve, but it consumes just an enormous chunk of my time: where I can paint only a unit, my friends may manage to paint an army worth of 1000 points.

    Awesome.
    My Skinks are very rudimentary because I get sick of painting them after doing a few. I mainly want to get them done. The way you do it takes LOADS of time I wouldn't want to spend, so I'll settle for just painting mine the way I can, while gawking at yours. :D

    @Warden
    Thank you :) yet there is much more to paint before they'll be ready for battle at last.

    @Aginor
    Hahaha :) I would've painted mine much quicker actually, with just a basecoat-drubrush-wash... but the process just overwhelmed me until I found myself after few layers of blended colors and extreme highlights.

    If you made casts of your minis, you would make money. I'm fixating on your Akuma Skink Priest, he's great.

    Thank you for your replies guys.
    I'm really sorry for abandoning this blog, I really am, giving your overwhelming comments on it. I just got swamped with personal things and other projects...

    If only I could bring something big right now... but I actually can't. My lizardmen collection has stood for good few months without any progress (I was just playing games now and then), but recently after some kick in the back I started to paint lizards from time to time. Here's what came out so far:

    Sadly this saurus champion is not as good as I'd like him to be, but I'm currently trying to find some balance between "perfect and never" and "lazy and this evening". The saurus brick won't be that sharp sadly in terms of painting-quality, but at least I'll have some painted Core units to begin with.

    I will try and keep this thread a bit more updated in the coming months.

    @ravagekitteh Not exactly. This particular saurus took me about a day or two to paint. I repainted a few things on him in the process, trying to get the best result, but in the end I gave up and got satisfied with table-top quality. The rest of the unit will probably look like this guy, just with different hue to their hides.

    @Aginor Thank you :) I'll try to post something new now and then. Maybe it'll keep me a bit more motivated for complition of this project (because nothing is more feeble than playing with grey plastic army against a fully painted one).

    The amber blade looks great, the skin looks great... If I had any feedback it would be that the red of the rope looks pretty flat, have you considered dropping in a light purple wash and then amping up your painted threads about 50%, maybe use both darker and lighter shades of red to add some depth to it?

    @Ritual Your feedback on the red rope is true, and it's probably the I like about the miniature the least myself. I will try to redo this thing during my next painting session first.
