Haha would be fun to make a council of Slanns and have them circling a banished Skink.

    It does!

    Looks good.

And what poor Skink is deserving of such a cruel fate of being an analogue for Jar Jar?

"And for some upcoming models I will add to my general collection. I just ordered these lovely miniatures, one beast will serve as my version of the salamander in my lizardmen army as I'm not a real fan of the current model from GW. As for the elves I have been looking for elvish models with fur coats/robes for a while and finally found some, sadly the models are sold alone so getting a regiment or an whole army of those would be far too expensive. And lastly some good old northern barbarians, hoping to get more of those later on as I can't get enough of barbarian models."

What models are these and where they from?

Haven't posted much lately so figured it's time for an update. Began to dabble with Tau recently and so far I've picked up a couple of models. Recieved my Kroot Riders a the other day after three weeks waiting for them, found a Russian site that sold forge world models that FW no longer sell themselves so that was a good catch. Love them and plan on getting some regular Kroot at a later date. Some of my models are still WIP when it comes to painting such as the Ghostkeel, Crisis suits and my Broadside etc. The Kroot Riders are the ones I'm working on at the moment. Got a team of Breachers, Fire Warriors and Pathfinders ready. Also tried to make some Gue'vesa soldiers from left over Guardsmen.

I've reached the point with my Lizardmen where I feel I have everything, I really wish AOS released something new for them, only a few "characters" I do not have otherwise its just conversions left to do. I have a couple unfinished Saurus Warriors but no rush to finish them since I have dozens done already.

    Pretty cool stuff!
I am going to start 40k with Tau as well (maybe in March as I have enough AoS stuff to build until then) so If love to see some closeups as well. For a moment I thought those Kroots were riding on Carnosaurs. :D

Your Tau look good so far! I always was a fan of the battlesuits [xenos heresy] but they were just so expensive . And I like how you have given your ethereal a helmet!

Go for it! Hehe Kroots on Carnosaurs would be cool hehe.

Thanks, and yeah they are quite expensive. I won my three crisis suits on auctions by bits. ^^ Main reason Ilike Tau is because of their high tech / neo-future looks hence why I gave my Ethereal a faceless helmet.

Starting off 2018 with a big bang by ordering a Riptide and a Stormsurge as well as a classic pack of regular Kroots. Ordered the Stormsurge from the same place I ordered my Kroot Riders so I wont be getting my Stormsurge anytime soon, most likely at the end of January due to russian mail service. But the wait will be worth it I recon, got it for 613 SEK ($75) where if I would buy it from any swedish store it would cost me 1044 SEK ($127) including shipping so this was one hell of a christmas sale. Some part of me have a bad feeling about it but since my Kroot Riders were all good I have faith it will be fine haha..

Apparently russian mail service is having a holiday break still so my Stormsurge wont be send until the 10th. Bummer! My Riptide should arrive next week atleast, meanwhile I got myself some Kroot to keep me busy. Some work in progress here, since I gave my Kroot Riders the Breacher shoulder pads I went with the same for my foot soldier Kroots since I had some left overs. (My Breachers uses regular Fire Warrior pads since I noticed halfway through building that there were two types of shoulder pads..... derp) will get another box of Fire Warriors so all my kroot can get shoulder pads.

Some more progress on my Kroots. More or less finished, some small touches and some missing shoulder pads as stated before. Other than that I'm pleased how they turned out. While painting them I was brainstorming about their part in my army fluff. Just some quick ideas popped up.. Like the reason for them to wear the shoulder pads, the pack is completely loyal and devoted to the twin Ethereals after being saved by them personally from certain death. And I'm picturing that they have dropped their lives as mercenaries and serves the Cadre fully as proper warriors.

Nice Beasts they have. Although not a match for Seraphon Dinosaurs.
I am SO converting Seraphon to 40k when I start my Tau army. Just have to figure out which weapons to give them but I think that could be great fun.
