Hi all. I've just only really got into age of sigmar and final decided to paint my seraphone army that I have had for around 2 years. I've been painting for the past few weeks and my friends have been telling it's turning out real well, and I just wanted to see what some of you guys thought

The units I'm currently been working on are:
    - skink starpriest
    - saurus oldblood
    - saurus sunblood
    - 20 saurus worriers
    - 10 saurus guard
    - 8 saurus knights

Also I'm looking at getting a carno, stegadon, eternity warden, and some chameleon skinks

    - for my army I've mostly gone for the generic 'blue lizards' painting scheme
    IMG_1991.JPG IMG_1992.JPG IMG_1993.JPG
    - my saurus sunblood (Gor-Rok the albino lizard)
    IMG_1994.JPG IMG_1996.JPG IMG_1999.JPG

    - I think I could of done a better effect on the feathers, I still haven't mastered the skill of fading colours

    - I painted the head and spines alpha/ leader of the unit a different colour because I thought it looked good and it's easy to find them

Blending might indeed be something for you to work on (apart from taking better photos :D)
Although the only model it becomes really apparent on is the Starpriest, and even on that you have to look close to notice it.
But otherwise those look pretty cool already! Your shades and details look decent even though you did the same thing as I did and kinda chickened out of the eyes. :D

Those are all looking fantastic! Certainly far better than I could do with blending and shading. Some great looking miniatures there. Top notch!

    Looks great! :artist:

Your champions are the stars of your units. I personally prefer making entire units the same (as in the old sacred spawning method), but yours remind me very much of the star-lizard artwork seen in the books, and in my opinion you have pulled it off very well.

Excellent work so far, blending does take time but it is not as hard as it first looks, patience is the key.

Looks really good, just one thing I don't like his claws blend in too much they could do with being darker.

Nice job! I like the colors you chose for the dino... although it's blue and white... but black and yellow would look strange on a dinosaur...;)

Yeah it makes the scales really stand out and make the dinosaur look detailed.

I very much like this. Can you explain how you worked up to those colors on the carno? Blue, orange and cream

i based the whole model with the citadel white spray paint, then based the model with sotek green, then covered it with temple guard blue. once that was done i then put canolia green shade on all of the scaled areas; and used lotheran blue for dry brush and edge highlight on the scales.

for the skin, after the base coat of temple guard blue, i base coated it with rakarth flesh and applied riekland fleshade, then a drybrush using flayed one flesh.
for the carno's spine i just used evil sunz scarlet with wild rider red as a edge highlight
