I rarely get amused by computer programs, but the result is just too good. Love the idea a lot too !

Edit : Wait, don't tell me that this is actually painted? Like, be hand? Not a troll question.

Oh my DEAR LORD. OH GOD :eek::eek::eek::eek:

This might as well be the most impressive, excellently painted and artistic thing I 've ever saw on a miniature so far. I literally didn't even think it could be a hand job. It is unreal. This is more than pure talent. Can't find the proper words @neveroddoreven , congratulations for this :eek::eek::eek:

Yeah, compared to his work my Skink Starpriest looks like someone painted it wearing boxing gloves. Those eyes and gems alone! Holy Sotek!

Words fail to describe this one. With all those tiny scales you have put the lizard into lizardmen! :vulcan:

Absolutely stunning base work as well :lurking:

No, but that's only because I'm dumb and getting old and don't know what instagram is.

Heh, that's cute. I wish I was that good at photoshop!

Here's the brush I used for the freehand stuff. I recently bought a bunch of them because they come in a variety pack of four and are dirt cheap for being under £5. I discovered that the quality can vary, and that the ferrule can break after a while but I drink coffee more expensive than that.

Twisting brushes? I'm not sure. That used to happen to me all the time, but not anymore I now realise. I'm not sure what I do different, but brushes just wear out even the best ones.

For me the biggest factors for brushes losing their sharp tips are those:
    - drying paint between the bristles. Main factor. Ever since I make myself clean the brush every few minutes it happens way less often to me
    - synthetics. Maybe expensive synthetics are better but even cheap natural hair brushes do better for me than the synthetics I used
    - "stabbing" with the brush
    - storing them wet in an upright position
    - not turning them around their longitudinal axis when pulling them over the tissue to dry them after cleaning them.

Alright there's no way he's not a robot. Humans don't have hands that steady. What brush size were you using?

Oh come on that's a story like Jack Sparrow escaping from that island using turtles and his back hair.

Next you're going to tell me he uses homemade brushes made out of his cat's fur and paints with his mouth, and a candle as the light source. :D

Imagine what he can do if he uses his hands to hold the brush :D
