    Hi all!

Im building quite the force in the post-Xmas lull, and thought it’d be interesting to post my progress here!

Me and the missus have next week off to build and paint as we get snowed in. She’s building Fyreslayers and I’m getting my third Lizardm...Seraphon army together.

The bulk arrival.. months of plotting and a good discount later...

The build so far, 99% built.

I have few lists, variations on shadowstrike that I really want to try out, hence so many fliers. Not pictured are 3 Start Collecting boxes and an Engine of the Gods... might have gone a bit nuts!

    Grumpi’Lump and his trusty Seid’Kik

The colour scheme. Basically the secondary colours (Green, Purple, Orange) in a style similar to Chotecs Feather from the army book... with less white.

Leftover skinks plus two leftovers from the Terradons sets

And the best painted miniature in the army, in all its poor quality glory!

So I hope to post regular updates, want to have everything painted by February, wherein I may not get a day off work for 2+ months.

Wow you have a LOT in front of you there!
But it seems you are off to a good start, so looking forward to more. ;)

    Hey!
Yep, that is an impressive amount of painting. Good luck :) and do keep posting as you go!
Are you going for tabletop standard?

    Thanks everyone!

I’m aiming for tabletop standard for the most part. I tend to give s higher standard to faces & bases, as they are what draw the eye for me. If I put too much detail in, I will never call anything “finished”, so I’m forcing myself to aim for a faster painting method.

Morning update: heavy rain and snow forecast for my entire week off. I woke up, and the rain hadn’t begun yet, so I raced to get the basecoats done.

The second I finished putting my skinks on the tray after spraying, the rain began. So happy!

Shields didn’t get the attention they needed... but I can at least do those by hand.

I’ll upload the image when Imgur sorts itself out...

That's a lot of backlog! I've tried it a few times but burnt myself out / lost motivation so good luck and keep focused!

That is a lot, I reckon I'm about the same but not all one project.

I know where your coming from, I keep looking at the Black Templar and Death guard but I can't find the will power.

This is why one of my main hobby resolutions for 2018 was to not go out and buy a full armies worth of models in one go again. Slow and steady wins the race... I have the funds sat in my account for a full 2k+ points worth of nurgle. Those models aren't going anywhere and the psychological benefits of only having a couple of unbuilt/painted models infront of you on the desk is actually pretty helpful, for me.

10 plaguebearers, 3 nurglings, 3 plaguedrones, the glottkin and one tree. My buy list is really long though, so I need to try and get through this so I can get to work on an actual working army list.

Well done… @Magic_karl you do know that the 'upload a file' option doesnt require 3d-party hosting, right?

And yep, it is a wise choice… we've all got loads to do. Starting with the entire start collecting box as far as i'm concerned XD not quite as huge as what you have here but then there's lotr and 40K…
Anyway, have a fun week off!

I'm just thinking of the hilarity of using trees to get my nurgle somewhere and then popping a herald on a balewind vortex and getting a 14" circle of mortal wounds. :D

    That's a disgusting tactic.

I'm waiting for my Maggotkin book to arrive but I've watched a few batraps on youtube and Nurgle look good fun to play.
