Last time I played fantasy was 6th ed I think when you only needed rulebook and codex and ur done. I have the seraphon codex and had a look at GHB2017 but I have no idea where to find the rest of the rules and spells etc. Anyone know?
If it's the AOS rules you are after, a suggestion would be the Warhammer AOS app. It's free (unless you want to use it as an army builder) and has loads of useful info on it. The rules are on a tab on the bottom of the splash page. Another suggestion - go to GW wesite, type in rules and, about 5 down, is the free PDF. Hope that helps
Yeah I found that but I couldn't find any spells or rules more specific to the seraphon I've seen on this site and yet they aren't in the book
Erm......that might be it! I'll let some of the more experienced members jump in at this point..............please.........
I'm not quite sure what other rules you are looking for. If you have the Battletome, you have all the Warscrolls in the back. Combine that with the main rules and the additional rules you get in GHB2017 and that's pretty much everything there is on Seraphon. The only things I can think of that aren't in any of those are two battalions, but they aren't hugely important for playing Seraphon. I'm not the most experienced player but I'm pretty sure you have all you need. What else were you looking for?
Well thechnically, if you want EVERY rule you should probably get Malign Portents book as well because right now there are some guys playing with those new rules, but they aren't specific for Seraphon. For Seraphon it is: - GHB2017 - Battletome: Seraphon - those two bataillon warscrolls in the Grand Alliance Order book. But.... you can just find them by googling them, it isn't worth to buy the book. EDIT: Or here: http://www.lustria-online.com/threads/help-cant-find-heavens-watch-battalion.19009/#post-179095
There's also a handfull of special spells in the various fluff books like malign portents or the battle for ghal maraz books, usually something like "if you fight in the realm of such and such all wizards know this spell and at the stat of each turn units randomly heal/explode/turn into a bunch of flowers" But none of that is seraphon specific and not worth it if that's all you care about.
