Got to work on these guys for silver tower - my first "Finished" lizards with the color scheme that I like.

Going to try to finish more of these soon. Missed a spot on the skink's elbow, not happy with the way the feathers turned out and I think there's some things I could definitely be doing better in the highlighting department, but overall I like how they turned out.

Think I may go back over the eyes again later too. I tried just making them glow with a golden metallic - as in age of sigmar they're supposed to be full of star magic - but with all the gold on them already, I think the effect isn't as good as if they were just regular yellow eyes with pupils.

Let me know what you think and where/how I can improve!

Very nice, what you could do with the eyes is paint around the socket with a very bright yellow that will give the impression of a glowing eye but be careful and remember less is more.

Ways to improve look at the staff on the skink and the sword on your Oldblood you only see gold, try adding inlay colour to break it up a bit and give some contrast it will look brilliant on already cracking looking models.

They look really nice, would you mind going through your process to achieve this?

I think you're right actually, adding some leather to the staff and clubs would look nicer. I'll try that next time I go over them again.

Step by step? I'll try to take pictures next time I paint one and I have my paint colors in front of me.

I will say that it's way easier than it looks if you just follow the citadel method (base/layer/etc)

Uhhhhh, not yet, I've been really busy lately. Those two were painted for a convention where I was demoing Silver Tower for folks who have never played it before, this week I've got to work on some orks, the majority of my lizards are in various stages of completion as I normally paint things factory style. I have a couple finished orks I could post I suppose.

I may switch over to start painting in smaller batches though, it is really nice to see a couple of guys completely finished at a time.
