In my ceaseless attempt to keep y'all updated on small miniature vendor news, Norba miniatures out of Spain have just released new dwarves. This will serve as an ongoing thread which I will update. Between these and mom, my dwarf expansion of my undead will probably happen now. http://norbaminiatures.com/en/home/158-regimiento-de-barbaslargas.html
More news: this time of an upcoming Kickstarter with a zepplin. " Aquí tenéis las primeras imágenes del próximo Kickstarter que saldrá en un par de semanas. Here you have the first images of the next Kickstarter that will be released in a couple of weeks. It is a 3D zeppelin with a playable 50x100mm base and a price of 50 euros. There will be two different models, more than 10 different rewards, all in 3D."
Kislev like bear cav from norba - 40 euro for 3 or 15 per 1. Also, thier zepplin Kickstarter is over 6k euro now.
Yeah but that's very common even with human miniatures of big companies. Faces are hard. Which is also one if the reasons why I don't play humans.
Yeah same here. At least when I paint them. There are a few painters that really manage to pull off human faces on GW miniatures for example, but I am certainly not one of them.
I watched a YT video some time ago, it was called "how to paint space marine faces" or so and it showed an interesting technique that was similar to drybrushing, leaving some deep recesses and actually omitting eyeballs. It looked a bit comic like but really dark. I might try that on my next human face.
Same here but they still get more blurry than I like them to be. They look fine from a meter away but up close.... meh.
