Some work slowly being done on the Saurus. I felt they would fit better with the blades/clubs. Also gave them Temple Guard heads. Hopefully if store allows it I can use these as Saurus Knights

Debating whether to go with the normal banners they carry or a different type of banner hmmmm.

Also will be leaving the poll up for a short while so be sure to put a vote in for which type of Skink build :)

Why shouldn't they allow you to use them as knights? If I see correctly most of the parts are from the knights kit... and they would be really... let's say strange if they wouldn't allow such a creative kind of kitbash conversion...

    Looking great!

Well he is usually okay with stuff like this anyway, he likes the bit of creativity in the store. Depends also on keeping the Cold One's bite.

Many thanks! The other little project is nearly there, need to do some more alterations possibly to the staff and sort a base out

Well... two pairs of front limps should compensate for loosing the second set of jaws...

Certainly some unusual and unique-looking Saurus Cav!

Progress has been slow, been mostly in the building mood. Going to be keeping the poll up for a bit longer, looks like Boltspitters and shields are in the lead at the moment.
Waiting on a rolling pin from greenstuffworld for my Bloodletters.
Undead bird lady has all the bone highlighted, I remember the dress being a dark red now so need to dig out the paints for that part.

Also adding to the thought pile of future projects, looking at GW miniatures to see which is closest to this guy here

Game of my younger years haha, plenty of designs but this guy always stands out to me.... and the Light Juggernauts, the look like the Khorne ones.
I did think the Troggoths but they could be a bit small... Need to check. Well actually you can see the humans hand sticking out the net he has so he is big.

How about a Dark Eldar Grotesque? Their bodies are similarly muscly.

Hmmm possibly, will have to have a look. Well the store is out of stock of them...
    Many thanks for the suggestion!

Had to prop them up, they don't stand by themselves. Here is some of them
    IMG_20180507_074213664_LL.jpg

Used a Saurus Warrior drum instead of the cavalry one. Still sorting that banner out

    @Lord-Marcus Thanks
@tom ndege Also thanks, I couldn't think of a way on getting the Knights version of the drums to work so it was easier to use the Warriors one.

Did some painting outside today, started to work on the Triceratops. Got the base coat of brown and green down, the underbelly is a lighter brown at the moment. Need to work out the lighter shades on the skin. Did some work with a mix of drybrushing and blending.

It fits perfectly the way it is now... the riders drums would have looked like some massiv extra balls of which we all know even lizardMEN have non...

:hilarious: Or if attaching them where they usually go would mean the Saurus would have to snap his arms back in order to play the drums. Which would look rather strange, especially when running into battle.
