Lol, yeah, I got too many ..............................................NAH! :D
10 armies as of right now, and probably that for a while. The Ogre army and Skaven are my smallest armies at 4000 pts (I only play 8th edition - so using those rules). My largest is Empire at around 14K. Dwarves, High Elves, & O&G are all over 10K. My Lizardmen is close to that.

Those are some good points on the different shades of wash. I'll probably just need to try out various iterations of them on test pilot pieces. See which one I like the most. With the shade of blue I am using as a base, it'll probably mostly just darken them up. We'll just have to see.

Just a side note: with the new edition AOS seems to be taking some major steps towards oldhammer... according to complexity... still simpler and definitely still nothing like a new edition of the original but already many books to but for a whole ruleset...

Well, It was inevitable for AoS to come full circle to 8th edition eventually. They keep producing more and more new models that people want to add to their collection, and the battles keep getting more and more scaled to 8th edition size. The real difference comes with the skirmish-style play of AoS, or ranked units of 8th (which I prefer). Basically round base vs square base. (And I will never say Aelf. THEY'RE FREKIN' ELVES!)

As for GW, it's getting back to the same game (which they don't really care about), but this time, they own the model's IP. Now they can sue competitors targeting their game.

Next up is my Slann Chariot plan...

It started out with a Slann. I cleaned up all the vines and roots off the palanquin. They are cool and all...but I wanted it to look old but not decrepit.

Next was the dinos that will pull the chariot. I started with some Mournfang Cavalry creatures. I had to shave them down to get a good base to work from.

    Some more Slann Chariot progress.

I decided I needed to get rid of the saddles, and the mouths on the Mournfang. I wanted these dinos to end up looking a bit like lizard oxen. They are beasts of burden...not dangerous attack animals. (As they wont have any stats or anything of the sort and are basically scenery, I wanted them to not look threatening)

a mixture between protoceratops, ankylodon and water buffalo... quite fitting!
Excellent work! Great idea and nicely executed!

Your sculpting skills are incredible. Inspiring stuff!

A serious question, what would you charge to sculpt some Chameleon skinks? Seriously, I am in love with your work and I am very interested! If you have any interest, please PM me. Feel free to ignore if you are not into that idea. I will take no offense :)

Thanks! Ive not done commissions for this stuff in a few years. Being a full time contract artist professionally kinda limits my desire to do it in my spare time as well...however it MAY be possible. I would message you privately...but Im really new to the forum and have no idea where to find that option!!
