    Hello my fellow lizards.

    It's that time again! McDougall Designs is hosting a new contest!

    This time, it's the cavalry unit contest.

    Units of cavalry (any race - standard cavalry size) of 5 or more miniatures will be accepted. For example, empire knights, marauder horsemen, or our beloved saurus knights.

    while WIP photo's and discussion are encouraged within this thread, final submission of an entry should be be organized as follows:

    your name: title of you creation

    (applicable photos)

    the contest will run from today, August 6th, Until September 6th. At that time, a week long voting period will be opened, after which the winners will be announced. I request a hearty conversation to talk about how the forum thinks it would be fair to vote on winners.

    Prizes include a custom made monster-size base for your game of choice (for example, 50x50mm square for kings of war) for the 1rst through 3rd finishers. you can find info and pictures of possibilities at the McDougall Designs thread linked below (please note: if you wish to order items for use in thecontest please PM me and place such an order as soon as possible to garuntee delivery with enough time to spare!)

    Too bad I'm working again... jobwise... spending my time on construction sites instead on the painting table feels bad in these days... especially when the temperature reaches 51ºC in the sun and your job is to cut down the trees spending a bit of shade...

    We have 2 industrial ovens running from 8am to 5pm and they are constantly at 200 degrees, the warm air get's trapped in by the low roof so by 2pm it is very very hot, great in winter not so great now.
