Hello everyone! I am glad to come here today to share my company's latest project... That is, the Barbarian Farmstead that I have been working on has taken sculpted form and we are due to launch it soon on Kickstarter. As a major fan of all things Celtic, I thoroughly approve of this. So few companies have looked into this part of history, and it's great to see you having a go! I've just had a look at your Desert Empires Guard Tower over on Etsy and am pleased to see that it is selling for the reasonable price of £22 over in Britain - I trust that these beautiful pieces will be similarly affordable?
That's right! Our aim is to make all of our pieces, even our prepainted items, priced at something affordable. Hopefully the shipping can also be reduced. The Guard tower is about 0.5 KG and is considerably larger. I think if one were to get each piece of the kickstarter, the weight would end up being something around the 0.5-1kg mark, but for those who just want, say a fence, or or the hut individually, I am thinking the shipping may end up being a much better deal I've always appreciated the Iron age outside of Rome and Greece (though you'll probably see some Greco-Roman influenced kickstarters out of us in the future as well!) and we as a company thought it would be an interesting starting point. Hello everyone. There were some slight delays in my production and managing of this Kickstarter due to some health problems over the last week or two, but I am back on track now and myself and my small team are currently in the process of setting up the final parts of our kickstarter campaign and determining the best methods of managing our pledges. Most likely we will end up using Backerkit as that has been my personal favourite one to use as a backer in the past! So there's been some slight changes to my original announcement, which I'll now mention. We've decided for this campaign to not include stretch goals. Because of the time and amount of units that we want to make available for the Kickstarter funding goals we have in mind we've decided to just omit them in this project for now. The good news is that we'll still be offering considerably low costs for fully painted pieces (and yes, there will be the choice of selecting raw resin options as well!). Here's a little demo of the full farmstead, slapped together with some historical miniatures, just to give you an idea of what a quick set up would look like! Truly a magnificent piece! Rest assured, you most definitely have my interest and attention. I have to admit that I’m not one to invest in Kickstarters, but I’m certainly considering purchasing these pieces when they come on sale.
