So just was playing around with the warscroll builder, heavily inspired by @darren watson 's Six Nations list and come up with something like this Slann (260) General, Great Rememberer Engine of the Gods (220) Engine of the Gods (220) Engine of the Gods (220) Engine of the Gods (220) 20x Skinks (120) 20x Skinks (120) 10x Skinks (60) 3x Rippers (140) 3x Rippers (140) Prismatic Palisade (30) Allies: Knight-Incantor (140) Everblaze Comet (100) Total: 1990 Points Slann will get a 5th Engine in Turn 2, Engines will do their stuff, Knight-Incantor with Everblaze Comet because i saw it today against me and it's one of the biggest MW dealer out there (seriously, way too cheap and it should not be able to be used by every order army) 2 Units of Rippers for 2 Frogs, 50 Skinks for a lot of Bodys on the start Difference to Darrens List is obviously the Drops (he got 1 while i have 11) and i got a lot more bodies and the Knight-Incantor with the comet for it Pallisade is to hide my Slann from beeing shot to death as he doesn't need LoS anyways Thoughts? @darren watson Thanks for the inspiration you crazy Engine Guy
List looks good. The starting bodies are nice, but it could be worth considered dropping the unit counts to bring Razordons. There are few units as point efficient as they are. Chances are you will be going first in any tournament environment so you won't need the extra bodies to steal the objectives. No one wants to risk getting double turned by a shooting army. The double Rippers is a nice touch. Who doesn't like Bloat Toads? You nailed it with the Everblaze Comet. It should be SCE exclusive. Most order armies take a Knight-Incantor at the moment anyways simply for the auto unbind. The dominance of death practically forces them into every tournament list.
I would take 3 Razordons. Presumable in your first hero phase you should be able to bring 20 Skinks on with 4 engines near a Slann. I doubt you will suffer from low body count beyond turn one.
