So, had hit and miss and still trying to sort out Artifacts with this 2k 4 drop list. It has worked so far with some armies, as it lets me decide most of the time who to go first, it aims to make them turtle up, with the possible mortal wounds into their direction with some summoning to accompany it all. Wondering on critisims, suggestions.
More a question than a comment: what are you needing Great Remember for in this list? Arcane Might could be worth taking with the amount of endless spells and depending on if you play in Realms of Battle.
Knight-Incantors can cast the Everblaze Comet spell. Also, their native spell is pretty powerful. Not to mention an auto-unbind.
Yeah as they tend to turtle at the aspect of protecting their important dudes at the sound of one Ripperdactyl unit, and then later they forget theres a second one.. also Comet and Pendulum are throwned to cause as much damage to either kill a big dude or clear a path for rippers.
Why 4 battleline? only 3+ required for 2k (2+@ 1k, 3 +@ 2k, 4+@ 2.5K) you could get more out of single blob of thirty, and if flexibility is the issue, you could get more survivability/flexibility out of 2 units of 20 and a 10.
I would probably get the artefact that gives the enemy a -1 to hit on the Slann. Forgot the name, sorry. It is kind of a risky list, but so are most alpha strike lists. Could work.
Question. If you use a battalion does it’s buff affect all units if the types affected or only what makes up that battalion. For example if a battalion buffs skinks and requires 20 skinks. If I had 40 skinks would all 40 get buff or would the 20 be only getting buff. (I would use an example from real battalions but I haven’t played with any yet so I don’t know them.)
The battalion only affects what is specified in the battalion requirements, so for example Shadowstrike requires 2 units of skinks, all skinks in those 2 units get the buff regardless of how many are in the unit, it's the unit that is buffed.
