Hey guys trying to increase my 2k up to 2400 see what you think not sure if I've went too character heavy or not.

    Characters

    Slann
    Wandering deliberations
    Becalming cogitation
    Resevoir of energy
    Book of ashur

    Scar veteran
    Stegadon helm
    Speed potion
    Warrior bane
    Light armour
    Shield

    Scar veteran
    Sword of strife
    Light armour
    Shield

    Skink chief
    Egg of quango
    Terradon

    Tetto eko

    Core

    24 saurus
    Full command

    24 skinks, 3 Krox

    10 skirmishers

    10 skirmishers

    10 skirmishers

    Special

    20 temple guard
    Full command
    Banner of eternal flame

    5 ripperdactyl riders

    Rare

    Salamander hunting pack
    Extra handler

The idea is that the saurus and temple guard are the anvils and the rippers and Krox kill things with using wyssans on the rippers and debuffing with miasma to shred things. Using this list as a 2k list I've seen so many double ones when 2 dicing spells that I thought I'd try out using tetto. Gaining the d3 vanguard as well means that my salamander and skirmishers can get closer faster to be annoying. The steg helm scar vet goes with the slann and his temple guard to see off challenges by drinking his potion dishing out damage and making them lose attacks hopefully. The other scar vet goes with the saurus to just overall buff damage output. The chief with hopefully annoy people and kill war machines.

    Cheers

I've found that the egg of quango is good on the slann as there's no change the slann and TG will run away from panic (ITPsych). Also, are those scar vets dino riders?
    Some other points:
-I'd drop the chief. I've tried him as a skirmisher buff. It's pointless. having him on a flier he'll be a juicy target because he's easier to kill, in my opinion
-it might be worth taking another salamander as a vanguard recipient. having the extra movement on them means you can flame things sooner and redirect the opponent's attention right off the bat

Yea cool see your point my only worry is that I won't be able to deal with war machines as well but on the other hand they'll probs be shooting at salamanders instead of my blocks. Also the scar vets are there to bolster the units, the one with the steg helm and speed pot is there to see off challengers in the temple guard unit and the other one is to increase damage output of the saurus unit

I usually take 2x 5 chammos to take care of war machines. Also, if they don't want you in combat with their war machines then you won't get in combat with their war machines . Chammos are my favourite war machine hunters

If I'm not mistaken, I believe it's pointless giving the egg to a Slann because the rules state that any unit in base contact with the egg holder. Unless the Slann is in a unit of Sauras Warriors he won't be able to use it until it's too late anyway.
