So I started to do a monster smash list, but then I decided to twist it a little, and put some of the points for couple of Skink Priest to buff my beasties with Lore of Beasts, hopefully get the transformation ;)

    -----------------------------------------
    LORD

    Saurus Oldblood
    - Carnosaur (with Bloodroar and Loping Stride)
    - shield
    - Armor of Destiny
    - Sword of Strife
    - Potion of Speed

    HERO

    Saurus Scar-Veteran
    - Carnosaur (with Bloodroar and Loping Stride)
    - LA
    - Enchanted Shield
    - Sword of Striking
    - Dawnstone

    Skink Priest
    - lvl 2
    - Dispel Scroll

    Skink Priest
    - lvl 2

    CORE

    25 x Saurus Warrior
    - full command

    25 x Saurus Warrior
    - full command

    10 x Skink Skirmisher

    10 x Skink Skirmisher

    15 x Skink Skirmisher

    RARE

    Ancient Stegadon
    - Unstoppable Stampede
    - Sharpened Horns
    - EOTG

    Troglodon
    - divining rod

    -----------------------------------------

The Lore of Beasts runs a big role in this list, that's kinda why I wanted to take Ancient Steg with EOTG, and also because I haven't used a Steg in my lists (Ancient or "baby" Steg). And I wanted to run dual Carno since they're pretty badass. ;)

Cool list, I like the double carnosaur! Great kit out for both of them as well! A problem I see that might come up for you is that your blocks are movement 4, while your monsters are movement 6 or 7. With a melee type list like this you want to get right up in your opponents face as fast as possible, meaning a charge in turn two with your monsters. But your saurus won't be able to charge before turn 3 at best, lagging behind with their short legs! If you swap your saurus for Skroxigor blocks, a skink tar pit or more skirmishers your movement problem will be solved :)

I second everything Ondjage has said, just want to add this: please, please, take that troglodon out. It might seem like a good idea because of the roar, but it costs too much points for that, it never does anything useful except look cool cos the model is pretty. Instead for those 200 points you could add a third priest to increase the odds of getting transformation, panns pelt, savage beast and so on. Put the cube of darkness as a second dispel scroll and make your scarvet the BSB. if you have extra points (which you probably will) put in some units of 3 ripperdactyls for hunting those pesky warmachines that can make short work of your carnies

As TGFS said, ax the troglodon, if you don't have special reasons. And as Onstage said, consider removing at least one block. Even 3 krox as a single unit would be a great add on for your army, both for target saturation and to keep up.
But consider this: 2 salamanders, 2-3 razordons, some chameleons and a Bastiladon/rippers in exchange for the troglodon and block of saurus. You have now increased your threat level against most enemy troubleshooters. And most can keep up with your carnosaurs. Bastiladon jogs with your saurus, as a delayed threat. Squeeze in a bsb, to counter your other weakness. Bam!

I run a list kind of like this and im undefeated with it but i would drop the trog and eotg and mash in another ancient steg. also take away the magic weapons and use GW instead. Ur old blood should be running armour of dest, dawnstone and ots or he could have talisman of preservation, stegadon helm and ots.

i would also try to mash in at least one unit of rippers somehow.

    good luck mate
