I think I'm going to get the new Skink Priest and put him on top of one as the Oracle.

Glad to see some people who can help me out on my trog (already bought and almost all assembled, he's my next project). So i might have a few questions about the model, getting this guy to stand and is he gonna break? is he fragile?

First of all, i decided not to glue the poison spit or tongue to the model because it seems so fragile, are there any way i can make those parts removable? and put them on while playing, (by precautions when i carry him around.)
(might just not put them at all i like him that way as well)

Again here as a concern of transport i would like to be able to remove the trog from its base. (currently i have it in 3 parts, the base, the trog, and the foot that connects the base to the trog).

Thought #1, does the foot to knee junction need more support (thinking of pinning them together and adding some glue). once that would be made i could place a magnet under the foot and under the base. Do you think i could fit a magnet big/strong enough to make the whole model stand?

Thought #2 should i glue the foot part to the base and make the trog removable from the knee up, this would include some pinning/drilling holes in both part and simply sliding the model in and out onto the pin.

Thought #3 Maybe no one thought of all this and im just being very over caustious? does the whole thing glued together seem sturdy enough?(i get the feeling that one contact point isnt enough and the model is gonna break by the leg or just keep getting unglued and tipping over and causing even more harm to the precious model)

I would really apreciate some insight on this!

I don't think i could justify the points to spend on one trogo.. let alone 2!

I like the +1 PF, but is 2 turns of +1 PF really worth 400 points? :)

My troglodon is glued together, no pinning, no nothing, and he sticks together well.

Only problems i've had are his whiskers breaking, and someone breaking his channeling rod (likely because it's fragile as well, but i wouldn't know since i cannae find the perpetrator)

If carefully protected, wont fell apart. But its not worth taking it, even if you go with a tg deathstar.

I am buying a case from battlefoam and I want to make space for a troglodon an a carnosaur but I do not own them yet. Would you mind telling me how long ( head to tail) and how tall ( base to back crest - without the skink) is the trog model?

    Thanks man!

Do you know how big a carnosaur would be? Heigth without the fin on the back or the rider, only the carnosaur

Battlefoam has a shape for the Carnosaur/Troglodon in their custom tray creator. It works very well for both models. I have not had any damages transporting mine. You just need to decide how tall you want your tray to be.

    P.S. You can fit 3 Carno/Trog and 3 Slann/Tetto on a single tray. That's how I did mine. :D

Awesome! Thanks! How tall did you choose your trays? Also, I was looking battlefoam's shape and I could only find the carnosaur one, are you using that one for both of them?
