Some update after placing some plants:

Will make more terrain that's going to be more of a plant filler if that makes sense. Couldn't place too much onto these bases without covering too much and would ruined the scenery in my opinion. Waiting for my new terrain bases to dry up before painting and placing.

On another note, I bought some miniatures the other night. This guy caught my interest and would fit into my D&D perfectly:

While I got him I picked up some others for my craft for player character (Fairly cheap):

Just won this miniature on a auction, thought it would be a nice addition to the D&D. The feathers resembles the Lizardmen bitz.:

I hope that last Model becomes available at their site again at some point, because it is gorgeous! what a beautiful model :)!

It's one of those models that can really be used for a lot of things, i consider it a possible C'tan for my 40K necrons! (even though it is porbably a bit small).

Either way, i'd love to get my hands on one of those someday! Nice catch :)

The other models are nice too, i like the wizard :) looks actioney :) (the non scythe wielding robed one that is).

So placed my own made terrain on the table to see ho wit looks. So far so good if I may say so myself, my first own made terrain to be honest. Some need some minor plants and their bases painted otherwise all set. If anyone got any tips or ideas of improvements shoot :)

So I read some fluff stuff etc on the forum and this part caught my interest:
"Last Journey: When a Skink, Saurus, or Kroxigor too old, sick or injured to continue useful service to their Temple City goes off into the jungle alone to die after a brief ritual by their friends honoring their prior service. Skinks do not perform this very often, especially if they are literate and can work as scribe, or in some other non-physical pursuit. Some Lustrian pack or herd animals do this and it is believed that is the original inspiration for the practice among the First.."

So I started to pick up some of my bitz and built a Saurus "Lord". Remaining bitz from the Saurus Lord that's from the Carno, was mainly missing it's back and tail since I used it on the one on the Carno.. So I added the left over tail for the Troglodon.. Hence my question in the general forum if that was lore friendly or not.

Found these small reptiles and I had to have them. Will convert them into my lizardmen setup - as familiars kind of roles.

They are made by http://www.greebo-games.com/ however cant find them on their site. I found them on a swedish site.
They belong to the "Tutatis - Krogall" team. You might find local webstores that have them.

I just saw their website and checked out their minis. They are like the toddler versions of warhammer armies! They are awesome, and yes lots of options for minions! When you get yours please post a picture of them all painted up!

Just finished my Sslyth, with spear and custom shield. Used a "head shield" on the Sslyth's head to make it fit in more among the Lizardmen.

Not Lizardmen but what I did today. Didnt have any gold paint nor would I go for it, but went with black and silver armor with red cloth. Was very pleased of how it turned out. Shit camera still I'm afraid tho. Removed the "banner" from the Lord Relictor since I really didnt like the look of it, planning on putting a blade or some other weapon on his current staff. My only dislike with these miniatures is that they are "premade", in the sense that there are not optional pieces with them. They only have one look/way unless you wish to cut off parts etc. Which in my opinion is a pity but then again, Starter Sets tends to be like that.

A little update on what I have been doing recently. In the wait of something to buy for my lizards and hoping for a mail about woogity's models I have worked on some AOS models that I won on auctions which I will use for my D&D aswell. :)

My Liberators with a Lord-Celestant and a Lord-Relictor. Very pleased with how black and silver suits these armor sets and making it fit right into my D&D world. After a long wait I finally got my Retributors and another Lord-Celestant - More or less done with Stormcast now unless I find some cheap auctions again but all that's needed for the D&D campaign I'm making at the moment.

I didnt have any skin-color paint and I didnt want to go brown since I used it on their clothes. Didnt feel like mixing white and brown when I had so many (20) miniatures to paint so went with white and had the War Boys from Mad Max in mind - turned out pretty well imo. I had few old Chaos Marauders and stole their capes to use them on the chiefs among these ones. Thought it fit very well to be honest.

Made a little Orc Warlord conversion this week. Had a box of Black Orcs so used the two banners from that box, one fit perfectly as a helmet to this model due to his size, used the bitz from the Black Orc battle drum as a lower part jaw. Turned out well enough imo. Used the other kind of banner on his back to give him more of a "lord" vibe by having a mantle.
