Painting the Old Ones

I will be painting many Old Ones. This seemed a good place to paint-blog the endeavor.

Nope. Necrons. You know, the ancient race that created Lizardmen.

 

Great looking Wraiths! I really like how you painted the tips of the legs/arms/striky-chopppy-thingies same colour as the carapace. Why haven't you added these to the Necron forum?

I may pop over there as well. Mainly it's the fact that this new lizard forum is just do darn great! Even though I have my own web domain where I can host images, I have to transfer from my phone to my PC and then upload and get the URL ...

Here I can post straight from phone to thread. Very convenient and appeals to my lazy, I mean "coldblooded" nature.

 

I thought the Necrons/Necrontyr and C'tan fought and defeated the Old Ones.

I think I know what my 40K army is going to be!

 

The Necrons defeated the Old Ones (with help from the C'tan).

 

o.k, there still going to be my 40k army though!

 

The Necrons are my only 40k army (although I have a few Chaos Space Marines... but I am currently selling them off). The Necrons were my introduction into the hobby. I've since shifted purely into fantasy and although I'll probably never play 40k I can't part with my Necrons.

 

Great work! Your Necrons make mine look like rubbish! Time to get out the black spraypaint again I think...
