So I couldn't find anything that strictly prohibited this, but can Tiktaq'to be your General? If he does, is there any issues with him not deploying as normal other than the lack of Inspiring Presence and risking him as a casualty if he doesn't deploy by the end of the game??
Somebody correct me if I am wrong, but I think it says: "Select Any Model to be your General" without any qualifiers or restrictions. Which is puzzling...
in 8th it also had the restriction... Select any Character model to be your general, that it had to have the highest leadership (or tied). so yea Pen, that's pretty odd.
yeah, no one has had a problem with it (since it basically benefits my opponent) but we were still curious if it was actually legal or not.
But in AOS/9 ... an ordinary skink grunt with a blowpipe could be the general? Even if there is a Slann and named characters around? That's how it reads to me.
I may be guilty of confusing 8th and 9thAoS here. Inspiring Presence ..... AoS ? TIKTAKTO Ambusher ....... 8th ? Any figure the general ........ AoS ? @latenightswords which rule set is the topic here?
8e specifically. (although I would be curious if there's been any precedent in either direction for earlier editions as well.)
