Might have to try some since my old medium has apparently dried up.

Just finished my first Terradon and rider. Im pretty happy with how it turned out. I do feel like I could have added some more detail into the Terradon though. Hope you guys like it.

Very nice work on the Terradon. The transitions are very well done; airbrush? I do think it might benefit from a wash though, to catch some of the recesses (especially on the wing). Great job, looks awesome!

Very nice :), I agree with @NIGHTBRINGER point about bringing out the detail at the moment he looks one dimensional maybe try a glaze.

Years a go I can remember reading an article in White Dwarf and the sentence has stuck with me over 20 odd years later.

"you can always go back and add more detail later"

Still very nice and I may have to purchase some Terradons as the more I see them the more I want to paint a set.;)

Yea ive considered putting another glaze on the flat areas of the wings. There is already 2 glazes on them to begin with, I think that lighting/camera is distorting the color on there.

And the base colors and the transitions are all done with my airbrush. I can blend colors on smaller models but on larger ones I cannot get near the results with a brush that I can with an airbrush.

@Crowsfoot I would highly recommend picking up a box of them. They really are amazing models and are a joy to paint.

    Thanks for all the compliments

I agree with Nightbringer and Crowsfoot, the Terradon could definitely use a wash. I might suggest Casandora Yellow or Feugan Orange. The scales on the wings really need to be brought out. Too flat right now.

That being said, I think you have done an AMAZING job on this model! I love your color selection. Very bright. Will look great on a table top! Keep up the good work!

@n810 I do all of my base coats and most of my blending on large areas using my airbrush. Really cuts down on blending for larger areas.
