Wanted to try something different and came up with this. Saurus oldblood, carnosaur w/ swiftstride, charmed shield, talisman of preservation, other trickster shard, light armor, great weapon Saurus oldblood, armor of destiny, dawn stone, sword of might, shield Tetto ekko Skink priest, level 2 beasts, dispel scroll Skink priest, level 2 beasts, cube of darkness 24 skinks, 3 kroxigor, full cmd 11 skinks, 1 kroxigor, musician 10 skink skirmishers, javelins 10 skink skirmishers, blowpipes 10 skink skirmishers, blowpipes 5 chamo skinks 3 terradon riders 27 temple guard, full cmd Comes in at an 11.9. Thoughts?
TG arent that good without the slann giving them stubborn, mabye consider getting a character with crown of command in there. EDIT: nvm 25 is too much No bsb will hurt you aswell. Not sure if you really need 2 more priests with tetto, mabye make one lvl 1 to act as caddy. Your comp score is quite high, while the list is kinda soft. Vanguard is nice for the carno/TG, if the idea is to get into combat fast mabye add Banner of Swiftness, or just banner of disciplin to the tg unit. Careful with having large amounts of skirimshers since they cost a billon comp in large numbers. Skrox darts are nice redirecters at 120p per unit to minimize comp, add a skink to the dart or remove one and add champion. Seems like a fun list tho! How are planning on playing it?
Totally forgot to list the bsb. I do have one. Scàr vet on foot with armor of destiny. In my mind I vanguard up the carno and TG force my opponents to fight straight up by hemming them in with skinks. Put wysans on skrox and tg I have some of woogitys krox coming and want to use them. Savage beaat will also be really nasty in this army
I would recommend the terra-cheif over a pack of terradons any day. 2+ armor 2++ fire ward with 3x S5 attacks on the charge (plus the terradon stuff), pretty darn sweet for taking out even medium chaff. Makes you a miserable target for s3 shooting as well. If it eats a cannonball, then that is just one more turn your carno does not. I think they comp out pretty similarly. Are you going no slann for comp reasons or for fun reasons? I agree with Yrtomin, the comp seems too high for what you get, is there a synergy comp for having both dispels?
its more just for funsies. Been playing with a slann for the past year and a half and want to shake it up.
No mages is a pretty big mix up , you also get -8 comp points for it! Just be sure to get 2x bastilladons, or a bastilladon and an EOTG to spend whatever pd you do end up rolling for WoM. Is there an average comp, or comp floor/ceiling where you are playing?
