Hello fellow Lizardmen... Seraphon... whatever you wish to be called. I am Oldblood Itzahuan of the Cohort of the Celestial Path, and I have been breaking shields and shattering bone since before the ending of the Warhammer World and the rise of the Mortal Realms. I remember a time when Sacred Spawnings had unique rules, the Southlands had an impressive, if weedy, little army of their own, and when Terradon Models were so ugly and so pewter that I absolutely had to commission my Skink Artisans (read as WYSIWYG some models custom sculpts) to forge me flying stone golems to field as my Terradons. Now I turn my attentions back to the glorious pastime of thrashing my foes by the leg in this new Age of Sigmar. I'm refurnishing my armor (IE repairing and reassembling damaged models, as well as freshly renovating my Saurus Oldblood), reorganizing my forces, and decided I could benefit from the counsel and camaraderie of some of my fellow Cold-Blooded Cousins. ____________________________________________________________________ I solemnly swear to be as exceptionally nerdy as Lizardly possible. Seriously though, I was impressed by the site and it's community, and so... here I am!
Once it's received a fresh coat of paint and is decent enough to be in public again, oh yes. I'm ashamed to say how much of my army has remained unpainted over the years, and how much of that now needs to be repainted to bring it up to my current intended color scheme, but I aim to change that over these next couple of weeks. And thanks for the welcome!
Lizardmen will do nicely. Not sure about those Seraphon fellows. Welcome to the forum. Look forward to reading your contributions. Enjoy the site!
Yeah, I whipped up something vaguely mezzoamerican using green stuff, foam and bits. The result looked like a stone coatl with a crystal laser turret on the underside (you know, to represent rocks...) And a blowpipe cluster in the mouth to represent the javelins. I'm debating making more, since the last batch got destroyed when I moved in with my fiance.
