Hi Folks, I´m confused by the new easy and small rules. I don´t get it how many attacks a model really has. If I´m right, you have to read the description and the take a look at the weapon options... but... Example Saurus Oldblood: Spoiler: Saurus Oldblood Desciption A Saurus Oldblood is a single model. It takes to the field armed with a powerful Suntooth Maul or a swift Celestite weapon – either a Warblade, War-spear or Greatblade, depending on its chosen strategies. A seasoned predator, an Oldblood also tears at its foes with its Fearsome Jaws and its Stardrake Shield, which is as deadly in offence as it is indomitable in defence. So what I read: I have to chose one of: Suntooth Maul Celestite Warblade Celestite War-spear Celestite Greatblade Additonally I have always the following weapon: Fearsome Jaws and Stardrake Shield Is that correct? You can attack with multiple weapons "at once"?
Yep - when attacking, you attack with all melee weapons (in combat) and all missile weapons (when shooting) in the model's possession.
The old blood basically has claw-claw-bite. Always has the chomp with jaws, one limb has the shield on it, the remaining limb wields one of these four: weapons. Choose the one the model was assembled with. WYSIWY Choose.
Yes, the Oldblood can have a maul, warblade, war-spear, or a greatblade. In addition he always has the jaws and shield attack. So depending on your configuration, the Oldblood will have 3 – 5 attacks.
That is completely correct. Obviously with the weapon options he only has one of them per game. In the Attacking section of the rules, it states "pick the target units for the attacks that the model in the unit will make, then make all of the attacks". So since it says all it means all. AoS is a rules as written type of game so just treat everything as such. Just read the rules carefully and do exactly what it says on the tin and you shouldn't have any problems. Hope this helps
