    Nice! Got some reading to do after work :).
    Bleh can't open on cellphone... just 1 question that seems obvious but since I can't see yet, this is a complete rulebook yes? Not just what they added or implemented in 8th ed RB.

    That's the idea, but I'm not sure if that's what we're getting today or if that's the full release.

    onli skid threw, special has no precentage cap, cannons have scater dice from which you substract the shooters baliistic skill...

    It's 65 pages long and covers everything so I guess it's the full book.

    Looks really well put together, hope you guys are happy with it :)

    Bit complicated for my son yet but just reading about the magic items and armour has got me excited.

    well new and interesting thins so far:


    50% characters, but only 35% lords.

    Mark of Nurgle is -1WS and something about poison.

    ASF = +1 To Hit or if using a GW you hit on initative.
    On top of that GW units strikes at I0 which mean what our bastiladon can actually buff Kroxigors to I1.

    Fear = -1Ld and same as before. Same with Terror.

    Flammable = units with flaming attacks reroll to hit against them so no more double wounds lol.

    Parry = units attacking a parry unit have -1 To Hit :( Cannot be combined with other negative modifiers.

    AHW = 1 extra attack and +1I

    Spears = extra rank + killing blow. Killing blow = AP (6) and no regen allowed. There is no more HKB.

    Throwing weapons S3, Quick to Fire AND multiple shot (2).

    I'll update the more I read ^^

    Magic items:

    Skull splitter 40pts, thrown weapon, range 24" S4, AP and multiple shots (4) always hit on 4+.

    The ASF sword mention wounding on 4+ (at worst) so I'm guessing the same should be said about the skull splitter,. So in other words you can hit on 3+, but never exceed 4+.

    Blessed sword Rerolls failed To Wound and rerolls ward saves (holy attack)

    Force shield at 80pts grants 5+ ward vs shooting. Not sure if this is a typo of if something is missing. I'd be somewhat more understandable if it granted +2 save as a shield and 4+ ward lol.

    Scaly skin 5+ armour for infantry is nice.. For other armies :p

    New talisman = 50pts 4+ regen.

    Armour of Destiny = 30pts

    Gem of Fortune = 6s from ranged weapons must be rerolled against the entire unit. Anti poison.

    Ironcurse Icon = 5+ ward and 20pts.

    Unless I missed it there is no more channel staff.

    New swifstride banner that also grants strider rule at 30pts. Dat Jaguar banner

    Banner that grants triple movement speed on infantry. One time use. Saurus banner incoming?

    So getting the -1 to hit armor + having shield and hand weapon = -2 to hit . Strongk, but honestly.. I like it. Makes our TG seem less effective though..

    Oh okay... still like it.. much better then becoming a 5+ parry save that ive been seeing discussed.
    Edit i feel like great weapons have such an impact that they should not have to deal with the -1 to hit. Our crox will hit notjing with handw and shields now..

    I like the new miscast table for magic. Maybe mistcasting with 4 dice is still a bit too powerful, but otherwise it's better for our guards.

    Consider this: hits taken during a miscast is at power dice use + 2. At 3 dice that's S5 AP. Anything below won't hurt that much. The 8th edition miscast table had a tendency to automatically remove a bunch of models, this, however, is highly up to one self now.

    stand and shoot infinite range
    infantry and warmachine same size
    flanks 1+, 2+ if 2 ranks (both flanks can give bonus)
    rear 2+, 3+ with 2 ranks
    steadfast disrupted with 2 ranks in flank/rear
    monster ranks
    ethereal +2 wardsave instead of unable to attack
    impact hits I10
    stomp I0
    look out sir automatically passed
    champions have +1 attack, BS, WS, always roll atleast 4 on charge
    50 VP for standards
    Different costs for hero/lords
    carpet 50 points

    Oh, yeah and loremaster rule have been changed so you now pick your spells.
