I think that's left over from when it was Kroq-gar, but it does seem odd that it wasn't changed when they generalized it. Then again maybe he's too proud to bite, and instead prefers the subtle tactic of shooting the enemy in the face with his gauntlet.
Yeah but still he's a lizard I couldnt imagine being 'too proud to bite' I picture "something is nearby I'm gonna chomp you!"
Maybe (and this is a random thought) jumping off your huge armoured carnosaur to bite someone on a 5+ 5+ isnt the best strategy...Just saying...
Yeah but what I dont get is that the Scar Vet on Carnasaur still gets his bite attack. Its literally just the Old Blood. Also the Old Blood on foot appears to have almsot all the same weapon options as the Scar Vet on Carnasaur while the Old Blood on Carnasaur only has his specfiic gear. Feels like soething is 'off'
The Oldblood is old. And wise. He knows it's better to don't put your face near the same enemy, that your frenzied carnosaur is chomping away with truck-sized jaws...
I find it weirder that the Scar Vet can bite. Like, how does he reach goblins from way up on the Carno's back?
It's always bugged me how heroes on the backs of giant monsters can use normal weapons to fight enemies they shouldn't be able to reach. The two biggest offenders are Neferata with her bloody dagger, and the Auric Runeson who uses a tiny axe even smaller than the dagger.
