I think it was Michaels, but most craft chains (at least in the states) normally have a small section of plastic animals/dinosaurs/fantasy creatures somewhere near the hobby section. No clue what kind it was though, it was a very basic and cheap buy, that's why I bought it!
This is all the "leftover" bits from my crabs - in truth I only bought the models for the crab bit - no idea what to do with the rest -
Yes the slann channeled it's power into them keeping them alive through deadly blows and strengthening their attacks.
Just go a package in the post choc full of goodies more info on this later...and pictures to follow later too
So I got quite a bit so I'll make two posts here are basically my first troops since the rest I've been getting have been Slann and Stegadons - 16 Saurus: 10 Temple Guard: 4 Chameleon Skinks: 1 Razordon (front leg missing oh well ;P): 1 Saurus Old Blood: 1 Slann: 1 Tetto Ecko: There are some pretty simple conversions the seller did that i'm really fond of - this is the first set of what I got today
and now for something completely different.... well more of the same but some bigger beasties: 1 Bastiladon: 1 Stegadon (Engine of the Gods?): 3 teradon 3 ripperdactyl & a blot toad? bloat toad? he doesn't stand a chance xd: 1 Carnosaur: This guy: and the cherry on top who wasn't mentioned in the listing ... Tehenhauin Prophet of Sotek: I don't know why he doesn't have his cool base but it's defiantly him right? converted to a standard barer unless this was an option already For him?
Oh and the best thing about all this was the price I got it at a steal for 75£ their value new is aprox 360£ - but I'm missing some things like Slann bases due to converts and things so its only approx. value
That is definitely Tehenhauin, converted to a standard bearer. If you play AOS he would make a great proxy for an astrolith bearer! You have a decent starting army there
Yeah the painting is impressive It's a shame I'll have to have a mixed army colour scheme - I can't bring myself to undo his work
I believe that is the first time I've seen the 3rd edition rule pages. Ps. Oh, I just found a 3rd edition Slann blog. http://goblinlee.blogspot.com/2015/03/the-army-of-jade-throne-looking-at.html
I like that they had spiders and things - Its sort of what I've been looking at too the more jungle aspect of creatures they'd have with them
Brand new in box doesn't last long when I'm involved - oops... The cellophane layer cane off before I even took a picture 2 more Bastiladons for my army by far one of my favourite looking models Edit: and yes I have unicorn bedsheets >.<
I didn't even notice it until you mentioned it (the eyes have been trained to focus on the Lizardmen). So why unicorns and not dinosaurs?
