    A brief history of cheese.
One cave skink left a bowl of Stegadon Milk out in the sun for too long, and a few months later a curious Old One came by and tried some. It was disgusting - the Old One had to actually eject it from its body - so it altered the properties of all milk everywhere so that it would taste nice when left for ages, just to get rid of that manky taste on its tongue. True fact!

Oh the cheese rules. We all waited many a year for the to update the FAQ so the crunch could match the fluff.

...or they could tone down the fluff, to match the crunch.

I am just trying to get my head around the logistics of getting milk out of a stegadon

I know that some birds can produce a milk like substance, reptiles don't as far as modern species go anyway. Are we sure this wasn't a male Stegadon?

Glad someone got around to figuring out that reptiles generally do not have mammary glands...

Lizardmen are probably lactose intolerant by their very nature. Even if they are not, milk drinking is probably culturally distasteful to them.

    Hmmm. Proof reading issues...o_O
Although it is amusing that only @Hyperborean thought it was a mistake. You really shouldnt have that much faith in me

Yeah, I thought it was a case of "suspension of disbelief: needed" :p

Oh yes I do understand its suspension of disbelief, especially in this case.

As I also know it would be impossible to get milk out of a reptile.

Yeah, spiders don't talk, cats don't wear boots and go sword fighting. Wolves don't generally give bad directions to children so they can eat grandmas. Fairy tales usually stray from reality into the fantastic, make it an Aesop style fable and say that since that day reptiles were no longer allowed to have mammaries, but warm bloods can still make milk.
