I think you could blend the two lists into one Bloodclaw that saves points on battalions. Oldblood on Carnosaur 320 Legendary Fighter Quicksilver Potion Saurus Scar Veteran On Carnosaur 260 Saurus Eternity Warden 140 Saurus Sunblood 120 Saurus Scar Veteran On Cold One 100 Relic Blade 15x Guard 300 5x Knights 120 5x Knights 120 5x Knights 120 30x Saurus Warriors 300 Bloodclaw Starhost 100 2000 points Take the units in any configurations you want, and you could swap the Relic Blade on the Scar Veteran On Cold One for a Quicksilver Potion on the Saurus Scar Veteran On Carnosaur. The list splits up into the block of Saurus with Sunblood, the guard with eternity warden and the Knights with mounted heroes. You could drop the Scar Veteran On Cold One for another ten Saurus that make a massive horde, or for a Skink Starpriest for a little magical support.
I would probably run the way @ljwylde said, or switch one out for a shadowstrike for variety. If you want only the choice between your builds then I would go the first one with the Scar-Vet on carno being general so you can use all 5 command abilities. More agressive and better movement.
Thanks guys I'll give out a try like that and see how it does then figure out were I want to take it from there.
