Welcome aboard, Lord Kroak is a liability at the moment he is not worth the points, hopefully the GHB2 sorts that out. Your Astrolith bearer will become redundant within 3 moves as the knights are faster and they will go out of range, unless your planting him with Kroak. 10 Knight units have a big footprint and can be hard to manoeuvre, 1 at 10 and 2 at 5 might be better, freeing up some points but keeping the Starhost in tack. Knights are glass cannons deadly if you get the rolls but very fragile, you could do with some infantry be it Skinks, Warriors or Guards all depends on what you prefer.
Thanks I am reducing the knights to 5 each still need to figure out wish infantry to get and the as for the the bearer I'm keeping him planted near kroak
I would go with warriors as their the other aggressive choice of troops and can support the knights, but the astrolith won't do much for either since it needs to be planted so you will likely miss a round of usefulness of it. If you plan on keeping the astrolith, I would go with guard for your main troop choice with their starhost since they do best standing still with the astrolith planted.
If you want to run kroak you got to get a Balewind Vortex, its expensive but very deadly. You basically hit there whole army with D3 wounds each and kroka can only be killed with shooting and spells. If you want to run firelance get, a scavt on cold one for the command ability. The mounts do more then the lances even with mortals. And a starpriest would help buff the knights too. But honestly I would not run knights and kroak in the same list. You have to find one unit, or battilion an build your list around that to make it viable.
