Hello all.... This will be the first time I have ever put any work out on the interweb for all to see! Let me know what you think and any suggestions or criticism is welcome. The idea I'm trying to flesh out is that the as yet unnamed slann that leads this host is different from his contemporaries in that he isnt lost in dreaming or the glacial like decision making process of most Slann. He is considered a firebrand, confrontational, and rash by other Slann and has found/seen something that has spurred him on to such violence. He may be linked with Chotec ( sun God right?) And believes that the time for more forceful action has come. I'll be uploading WIP pics asap
Yeah it is a bit blurry on the photo but I noticed that as well. I would love to hear about the technique being used for that.
Thanks for the feedback, I am sorry about low quality of pics. I posted from work with what I had, but I will try to get several up in a day or two that show a few different models. The mace is was a lucky break trying out some techniques I found in the good old painting forums here. I used caliban green , ceramite white, and some watered down waaagh flesh.
Here are a few more WIP pics, the idea so far is that the Dino's are going to have bright striking colors while the different saurus n skinks will have the more firey metal n earth tone schemes.... But things always seem to change as I paint. I am also sculpting ( trying to sculpt) a Slann to fit the story... I will put some pics of it up soon.
Sorry for crappy phone pics, but this is just what I had time to snap before tee ball practice. None are finished but the carno is close. Advice and comments plz
ITS A RAINBOW! Or more correctly perhaps, did you in fact make a hot spring on your carnosaur's base!??! Either way that is some inspired stuff
Good eye my friend, that is in fact a hot spring in the works there on the base.... I'm working on my seraphon for armies on parade this year and I was thinking that they would be in Chamon (Aqushy?) With a kind of promordial Yellowstone vibe for thier temple grounds. I appreciate that detail caught your eye.... Many layers in it so far and a couple to go... Then the other half will be on the board along with others
