So are you actually considering starting one of these armies for AoS? ;)

... I can't understand why the game designers stick to this (in my opinion) really STUPID idea to give the new armies these cyclic abilities.
They may be thematic or whatever, but I hate those because:
    - they are another layer of complexity/things to remember (or read every turn)
    - they turn your army in the most predictable and boring thing ever. Now we know that every time we will face everyone playing every kind of Idoneth army the first turn every enemy unit will be in cover, the second turn every unit can run and charge/shoot, and so on...
    How boring!!!

To me, there's nothing more boring than knowing how my enemy will behave every single turn. :grumpy:

Ive played 15 game now of 8th and that is ONE of the reasons i dont like that version of the game...by turn three i can predic each move and call it with 99% success rate. Hell last two games i wrote my opponents moves down and handed them the folded paper. Asking them t read it after the game...

I don't like the fluff explanation. They are basically sea based high elves with dark Eldar tendencies

Nurgle at least can (IIRC from what I read about the battletome) change the cyclic thing a bit to prevent that kind of boring effect. I wonder if the sea aelves will be able to do that.

    Like we're on a current?

What do you think of the ham handed battle line infantry there? I think the weapons are cool but again I don't particularly like the large hands.

I didn't even notice until you pointed it out. You are right, but it doesn't bug me too much. Helps them swim!

Okay I guess that makes sense. It's at least a little bit of an explanation as to why the sculptors chose to do that. Guesses on how much a unit will cost?

Not a clue... I think they will be mid-ranged (by GW standards)... whatever that may be, I don't buy a lot of GW's new stuff.

I'm guessing 35 to 40 for a unit box personally
