Wait a minute....is it me or does this look familiar? Hopefully I've posted this in the right place. https://www.avatars-of-war.com/eng/...Spearback+Lizard&mediumcast=&id=118&Itemid=53
The eyes are so small! Don't you have a heart for the poor people who cannot paint such small eyes!!?? (Like me)
Now THAT is what a razordon should look like! Lethal and deadly. Excellent work, glad it is finally available! And loving the new avatar Lord @Rikard !
Amazing work, it's nice to see your razordon getting the attention and usage maybe in the future I might have to buy one of those if/when they're available and use it for a diorama
I could recommend a good jeweler's headset? You wouldn't be the first person who has to squint at that model. Thank you, monsters make everything better, still my favourite creatures/minis to sculpt. I hope you do and if you get one, I hope it does your proud.[/user]
@Rikard You kept that under your hat, I love the pose, it's like a cat ready to pounce. I might have to get one just to paint it.
I'm stunned that this model has become available. I remember several years ago when you posted your work-in-progress of your take of the razordon and loved it even at the early conceptual phase. Paint job on the model shown is fantastic. I wish I still played Warhammer competitively (I would if I could) so I could paint and use this model. Great work, as always, Rikard!
Thanks! Least I could do. I know I said I wasn't going to, buuuuuuuuut..... this isn't the last sculpt you'll be seeing from me at avatars of war.... there's more than one remaining. No idea when they are getting released.
Sorry I missed your post. I'll level with you (as I know I originally said I wasn't going to get it cast), I didn't intend to cast it, as Felix did make some comments at the time when I finished it, but he didn't have the finer resin casting equipment, that only turned up round about June (which was the same time I made that post in the sculpting contest thread). Hmmm, I still need to fix that.
Good job! I already placed my order for two of them - I hope it is possible to play around with the assembling to create different poses. If so I'll probably order even more
Thank you! I'm not sure, it all depends how confident you are with cutting and shutting, I've notice Felix has changed the pose a little here and there, but I don't know where and how he's made the cuts for the different parts.
