Not the fastest painter and have a habit of doing a unit or two then nothing for years but have recently returned to wargames after a 8 year break and trying hard to be productive
started this last night a lot to do but uncertain how I will progress as I have never painted anything this big before unless you count tau crisis suits strangely been enjoying the claws and spines
I think he is done now tempted to do a little dry brushing (the rocks will be when I base him up ) but uncertain will have a think on it now I need to move onto the solar engine and repairing of the skinks I managed to sever from it
This little pile of flying lizards was dropped of for me today so will have to add them to the list uncertain which version they are will see what the saurus knights look like when I collect but might just leave them be for now
ok then picked the box up and more than happy saurus knights are metal which is a bonus , all metal terradons but two types of head so worked out I can use 6 for ripper ( think they will be ok ) and 3 for terra just need to strip them down plastic skink priest and chief and a metal old blood 6 bases of metal jungle swarms plus loads of extra bits and bobs
more added to the pile they are all undercoated white so tempted to wait for the contrast paints and try some really bright colours , or the other option is a sand lizard look similer to the bastilidons underside any opinions would be welcome
I also got me some Orc skin green and plan to use it on my new Stegadon. If it looks as good as on your Saurus it will make me quite happy!
now you mention it I have a stegadon sitting in my kitchen at the minute undercoated was going to use the orc green and then darken up the raised scales
