Hey guys, I've been working on this army for the last year and a half. Heads up: I have also written about my army on my blog: daviseford.com. I sometimes write hobby articles on my blog, although it's mostly about software and programming. I will use this paint log to motivate me to paint faster For now, I'm going to do a massive image dump of my army. I actually picked up Seraphon 100% because I liked the models - I have only started playing AoS in the last few months. They are super fun to play summoning builds, so I've started focusing on skinks, skinks, and more skinks! I have 73 that are primed and glued right now, just waiting to be painted. I now realize that I don't have any pics of my skinks, Slann/Kroak, or Salamander! Will have to take some soon. Anyways, enjoy! That is one impressive force. I am LOVING your color scheme. I love seeing armies looking this good and it definitely motivates me to keep working on mine!
Something Something like 58 skinks now have basecoats for their flesh. 17 or 18 left. Balewind Vortex and Ripperdactyls arrived today.
Really great work! I like the colors you are using! I like how you have painted the green. Almost pastel-colors Easter Lizards? Easter ISLAND Lizards? Who knows So electric. Love the purple on your stegadon.
Thanks for all the replies! I've been in New Zealand for the last three weeks, so haven't had much time to get anything done. Here's my progress on the 74 skinks: I ordered a Badger airbrush - it should arrive on Thursday. At this point, I have the following left to paint: 4 razordons + 12 skink handlers 3 ripperdactyls 1 eternity warden 1 Stegadon/EoTG 1 Balewind Vortex I will attack them with my airbrush after getting these skinks painted to tabletop quality. They will mostly be used as summons, so I'm not too worried about how they look.
Currently working on adding these 3 rippers to my army. Going a lot faster using the airbrush for base coat.
Hey guys, Made some progress! The three rippers are done, and once the flock on their bases dries, I will varnish them. Next up, finishing this toad, and then detail work on my four razordons. I am LOVING my airbrush!!!!
Hey guys, I know it's been a while since I posted any progress! I've been busy with a new job, a big model, and you know... writing AoS Reminders in my spare time I finished up the rest of my army a few months ago, and then I received a birthday present in mid-May from my girlfriend - a Dread Saurian! Three months of on and off painting later...
Very nice work awesome colors on the skin and scales btw: whats up with the second picture? all the yellow looks red? Gr, Imrahil
