Not sure if this is this is the right section of the site but ive been sway from warhammer since before the old word was destroyed and im really tempted to restart my lizard collection.

I still have some old models (temple guard and saurus cav mainly) on the square bases, is it worth putting those on the newer round bases or will most people not mind the squares?

Also are lizards playable in warcry or mortal realms? Or just aos? Im not sure if its worth to start of with those smaller games or just get into age of sigmar itself.

    Welcome to Lustria.

It is always good to see a fellow lizard return. Seraphon currently don't have rules for warcry. However, there were name generation tables in a recent warcry book for Seraphon, so we are scheduled to receive rules at some point.

If your play groups are fine with squares then I would leave them based as they are. I know most tournament are now requiring rounds, but if you aren't planning to attend the big events then you aught to be fine provided you talk with your TO before hand.

Ok thanks, ill be at my local gaming store tomorrow at some point so im tempted to pick up some new models whilst im there anyway, plus the battletome if they have it (its not currently on their website), maybe thats a good sign a new one is on the horizon, just not sure if its worth picking up any rules yet other than aos itself

do not get the battle tome for rules it is entirely out of date. you can find our warscrolls in the azeir app and our rules/prices are available online. if you just want lore/painting our book is still good

Do the warscrolls contain all of their rules then? Ive seen pdfs around online for the battletome and images of the scrolls aswell

Thanks, there seems to be a lot to read through given all the changes in aos since the old warhammer fantasy, but on the plus side it all seems to be available for free online, ill try to get through the main rules themselves first and then the warscrolls and alegiances ect will make more sense hopefully,
Thanks for all the comments and tips everyone, once ive gotten used to how aos works i can look forward to painting dinos again and maybe even win a few games too
