I need guidance from the wise Slanns! If the slann dies and I have units from Dracothians tail in the heavens that are still to be called onto the field, are they all slain instantly or can I still call them onto the field?!

They don't die instantly. However, you can not summon them onto the field without the Slann from the Dracothion's Tail Battalion. Them not being slain only matters for counting kill points. However, at the end of the 4th round they will be slain.

Thanks for the reply, I had to concede the game in turn 2 as a result of my misfortune!

I've tried three games with the DT/FL/SS list you made but lost all three games. They were all vs Kharadron Overlords who have a lot more ranged danger than pretty much every other army, so it was really difficult to keep the Slann alive :)

Heavy shooting is very hard to deal with. And the ability for K.O to fly high makes is hard to cage them in. However, If they put everything in their boat and leave it open then you have a good shoot and nuking it with Razordons and Ripperdactyls to kill everyone on board.

Yes I think I simply need to go first and just drop everything 1st turn with the DT/FL/SS list before KO has the opportunity to kill the Slann. KO also have aether gold which if used allows them to reroll saves for a turn I want to focus any unit, making it even harder to crack. Unlike most armies, they are also extremely mobile and hard to pin down because of the fly high rule. I guess it's a good army to fight against before it's almost anti-meta for the DT/FL/SS list :)
Your posts and lists have been extremely helpful to me btw!
