A highwarden my girlfriend painted and I based after getting tired of waiting for her to finally base it. It's turned out quite cool. Shame the pointy aelves have stopped existing though :(

    Flamers of tzeentch.

They did not turn out very well. Not sure why but the details got lost in the paint much quicker than usual. At least as tzeentchian daemons they're allowed to look messy so I guess it ain't all bad.

The tzaangor from the aetherwars box, these didn't even take me centuries to paint like the last batch of tzaangor I did.

Probably because you had practice when painting the previous lot - it does get easier to paint more of a unit the further you progress with it

yeah, but tzaangor especially are a disaster. So many tiny lines that need tracing. And I'm still using a fairly simplistic colourscheme, and I don't do anything fancy with the gems and such. Can't imagine how much of a pain it must be to paint them to an actual high standard :p

A hunting pack & an oldblood, cuz I didn't have this model yet & also my two current oldbloods are equiped with spears cuz that used to be the best option but now it's terrible. Sadly this one only comes with his maul which isn't my favorite option either. On that note, is there any oldblood box (or proxy) that comes with his other options aside from the troglodon box? I don't really want to build another 2 or 3 troglodons just cuz I want an oldblood with warblade and greatblade.

The realmshaper. Got are branches annoying to paint, especially when half the model consists of branches.

The Kharadron overlords from the aetherwar box. They're a pain to paint imho. At least the bases were simple enough to make :p
Now I just need to finish the ship and then I've run out of models.

Great basing work for those sky-dwarfs! I am hoping to use a similar method for my skyborne orks at some point.

It is surprisingly easy and effective. And I must say, it looks better than the white flyer stands from GW. If you're going to do it yourself I'd have 2 tips:

    1) Don't put on too much cotton, keep a margin between the edge of your base and your model. I've covered mine completly and now they constantly get stuck on everything. Including eachothers clouds, somehow.

    2) Spray one of those protective coats on it, like GW's ardcoat once it's glued. It keeps the cotton in somewhat of a fixed shape and acts as additional "glue" so you're less likely to lose bits & the aircurrents from the spray help make them look more like realistic clouds.

The grundstok gunhauler from the aetherwar's box is now done as well. Lifting up to follow its fellow dwarfs who're already in the clouds.

Hrothgorn's Mantrappers, decently fun to paint but god do I suck at painting light colours like on the frost sabre.

Also, what should've been the goblin's pupills has become warpaint on their eyelids, I need a thinner brush and a steadier hand.

Nice work. I like the color schemes overall and the banding on the frost sabers pelt.

Light colors are tricky. Specially for painters who use a lot of washes/shades in their technique. You could try relayering in a white midtone around the top open portions of the pelt. Such as the shoulders, ribs, and hips. Avoid the hollows between the ribs at the pelvis. Follow it up with some edge highlighting in a brighter white. It would help to clean up the lines of the model.

You're certainly table top legal though.
