I like the old ones as well. I have two of the new ones though that I submerged most of the body so they look alright.
I run a block with HW and a block with spears.
I don't know how well this would work, but it sounds kind of neat.
I am a fellow greenskin player. Some of my aquatic guys have blue skin, but I am old school and have green saurus like when they first came out.
Got some work done on my Neverborn crew.

I used it in a solo life slann build and it was pretty good. On a turn where you only roll 4 or 5 dice you can have a really wicked magic phase...
I thought this crew turned out really well [attach]
First turn at Capital City Carnage against Brian Moyer's Lizards I thought I was going to dimensional cascade his slann after getting double sixes...
That could be a cool item.
I had a blast! There was some insane stuff going on.
HE had first turn. On this turn he used the cantrip on my tooled up Chimera to send it...
I took out a treeman with the Blade of Realities in 7th. Probably hard to do with the bsb rules now.

He generally doesn't go in a unit. Against skaven with Dreaded 13th he hops in the Saurus or if I am worried about something attacking him in...
He is handy and there really isn't anything else I would want for the pts. The great thing with him is that unit can take a charge from a mounted...
I was running a list with 5 Scarvets. Boosting Savage Beast made them all dragons:) Amber Spear is a great way to deal with monsters and such....
This is what I am currently trying for 2400 pts.

Thanks, I feel like I am getting pretty comfortable with it and I definitely enjoy playing something a little off the wall.
