As a first update i assembled all the Saurus Warriors and the Carnosaur. The Knights will be ready soon and then i'll start painting!

I couldn't resist and i assembled it with the double tail

Hay welcome and good start to your army looming forward to.seeing your progress. Oh and is there a reason for the duble tail besides aesthetics

Welcome aboard! As always any questions just ask. I always recommend with the start collecting kit to make one of your knights into a scar-vet on cold one and the oracle from the trog into a starpriest.

Recommend another SC for a Troglodon and a foot Old Blood. Also gives you 15 knights total.
After these are done of course.

I made the skink starpriest (photos soon) i don't know how to make the scar veteran on cold one tho... Do i assemble a normal Saurus Knight and call it scar veteran?

You give him a crested head, and that ball with a spike on a stick. And then you basically just say that's your Scar Veteran.

Yeah you can use the other heads from the Carnosaur kit, add a different weapon, as long as it stands out from the other riders.

Finally had some time to work so i assembled the skink starpriest and tried to fit him and the carno on a base...

    Carnosaur Base Test.jpg

Since the main color of my models will be white i thought that a lava/burnt/dark base would look cool...

    Skink Priest Base 1.jpg

The base for this model is very simple yet pretty cool IMO because his posture seems natural

    Skink Priest Base 2.jpg

As you can see in his left hand he has a converted trinket/magic stuff ( ͡° ͜ʖ ͡°)

I also primed all the other models, hoping to paint them soon!

Here i come with my first painted model!

    Warrior 1.jpg Warrior 2.jpg Warrior 3.jpg Warrior 4.jpg

Te images are not that great: there's more contrast between the blue of the scales and the white of the skin.

What do you think about making a lava base for him? like the one from This Site found on This Thread?

Looks awesome! Great colour scheme and I think the lava base would look amazing.

Thanks man, the only problem with this colour scheme is that it's very hard to drybrush the blue on the white to paint just the scales, any suggestion to make this step faster?

Do you mean painting them one by one or drybrushing with more paint on the brush?

Ok thanks, the problem is that i don't want to paint over the white because it's hard to cover the blue with white to correct the mistake
