Looking for a little input to help with this list. Considering dropping the Eternity Warden and Razordons but I am not sure, thinking drop Warden and Razordons for an Engine of the Gods. Or would it be better to keep them in? Special Rules for this game no battalions or endless spells, anything else goes. Allegiance: Seraphon LEADERS Slann Starmaster (260) - General Command Trait : Great Rememberer (Seeing as how he won't really be casting spells I think this is the best option, although Arcane Might could be useful for unbinding) Artifact : Incandescent Rectrices Eternity Warden (140) Saurus Astrolith Bearer (160) Skink Priest (80) - Priestly Trappings UNITS 10 x Saurus Guard (180) 5 x Saurus Guard (90) 2 x Razordons (80) Total 990
Looks good overall. However concerning an EoTG it is worth considering as it can have some really crazy effects. However if you were to do that it might make some sense to drop a some of the guard for some more infantry, simply because Dropping the eternity warden and razordons would leave the infantry vulnerable early game. Maybe swapping some guard for warriors would help early game. Other than that this is a pretty solid set up.
That is a good point, however I feel warriors are super squishy. But I do see how it could be beneficial as there would be more of them. How about this? Drop Warden and 10 guard for EoTG and 10 warriors LEADERS Slann Starmaster (260) - General - Command Trait : Great Rememberer Artifact : Incandescent Rectrices Skink Priest (80) - Priestly Trappings Saurus Astrolith Bearer (160) Engine of the Gods (220) UNITS 2 x Razordons (80) 5 x Saurus Guard (90) 10 x Saurus Warriors (100) - Clubs Total - 990 points Gives me 3 more wounds on the table than the first list, while also giving me EoTG
Yep! While warriors are a bit squishy, they also can soak up a decent amount of damage, long enough for a slaan to summon more lizards. The set up looks pretty good, as the early game will not be as vulnerable. Also that EoTG with slaan is always nice. Tell me how well it goes when this set up goes to battle.
